Nitric oxide is produced by a group of enzymes called nitric oxide synthases (NOS).9-13 These enzymes catalyze the production of NO and L-citrulline from L-arginine, O2, and NADPH-derived electrons. Mammalian systems contain three well-characterized isoforms of the enzyme: neuronal NOS (nNOS, also called NOS1), ...
When it comes to performance, Nitric Oxide is key. Nitric Oxide is produced in the inner lining of blood vessels and helps to relax and dilate vessels, allowing more blood to flow throughout the body. This unique formula features L-citrulline, an amino acid that is readily converted to l-arginine, which can then be converted ...
Effect of Citrulline and Glutamine on Nitric Oxide Production in RAW 264.7 Cells in an Arginine-Depleted Environment. Show all authors .... Bird PS, Seymour GJ. L-arginine-dependent nitric oxide production of a murine macrophage-like RAW 264.7 cell line stimulated with porphyromonas gingivalis lipopolysaccharide.
Scientific studies show the combination of L-Citrulline and L-Arginine increases Nitric Oxide production for cardiovascular, immune boosting, and sexual health benefits!
Apr 18, 2008 - On the flip side, nitric oxide synthase (NOS) regenerates citrulline in the course of converting arginine to nitric oxide. This cycling ... A recent study looking at the effects of free form L-citrulline on exercise in healthy people actually found it reduced the time to exhaustion on a treadmill test. Malic acid is an ...
Determination of L-citrulline (Cit) by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) using an on-column derivatization and a column-switching technique has been studied for estimation of nitric oxide (NO) production by macrophages. The reaction system consisted of a reversed-phase polymer-gel column (Asahipak ...

Thank you for this video. You explained everything very well. I do have 2 questions if you don't mind.
1. Can I supplement with Citrulline alone without arginine? (for athletic performance and sexual functions)
2. Your video suggested 3g of citrulline a day, is it ok to take the 3g in one go or I should space it out throughout the day?
You can take Citrulline alone. I would not take the 3 gr all at once.
That being said I am a big fan of the product I take and recommend.
I believe it is more powerful to combine the Citrulline with Arginine plus other ingredients to support cardiac functions.
The product I use combines both. Per serving there is 5 gr of Arginine and 1 gr of citrulline plus other supporting ingredients. I usually suggest 2 to 3 servings a day for the first 3 month and then taper off to a maintenance level.
Erectile Dysfunction, or ED, is a condition of a male’s penis that prevents it from getting an erection from sexual intercourse. However, many male patients get this condition from many pre existing health problems. In most patients, certain drugs can single handedly treat the condition. Below, is a list of different antibiotics used to treat ED and what side effects you may get, as well as what other treatments your doctor might prescribe you.
