Here's a quick checklist of things to consider to help you be LESS gassy, Lassy!
1. Follow good RULES OF DIGESTION: (take time to eat, chew your food properly, limit/avoid liquids with meals, practice good food combining)
2. Reduce/avoid DAIRY (especially Cow's dairy)
3. Reduce/avoid MEAT which is tough to digest (especially red meat and pork)
4. Reduce/Avoid SUGAR
5. Reduce chewing GUM and sucking on CANDIES.
6. Limit LEGUMES (peas, beans, lentils, chickpeas, etc) until your digestion catches up to this higher amounts of this wonderful plant-based protein
7. Include PROBIOTICS daily (either from foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, miso, tempeh or kefir)
8. Stimulate your DIGESTIVE FIRE with apple cider vinegar or lemon water or introduce DIGESTIVE ENZYMES (with HCl)

Reduce gas? Are you kidding me? If anything, I'm loading up on beans, broccoli, dairy and red meat, and I'm going to rip ass like there's no tomorrow! It'll sound like I got a tuba in my back pocket! LOL!
Lugumes can be soaked in water overnight to help remove Inhibitors within the seeds because it is still a seed. This will increase digestion as well as I believe it'll release part of the gas that occurs when you cook them so good pre-prep of soaking your beans your legumes overnight could help with digestion of them and reducing the amount of gaseous they create. Also sole water stimulates HCL. Sole water is Himalayan sea salt put into a glass jar plastic lid sitting for 24 hours and as long as you have 1/3 of the Himalayan sea salt at the bottom you have a good ratio. Tip it over or shake it a few times use a plastic spoon or measuring utensil that's plastic take one teaspoon in water twice-daily you'll get anywhere from 84 to 94 trace minerals. It is a food. Remember table salt is only good for weeds not for your body. Himalayan sea salt is the best absolutely what your body needs. Definitely worth your while to check out.
Since I'm a raw vegan could it be candida? I do such on mints all the time. I can not digest beans. I want to get a crock to ferment foods. I tried in jars but they all were molded. I am type 1 diabetic. I got it at age 55 as a vegetarian. Lacto-ovo avo...so now I'm nearly raw vegan. I'm thinking since my apartment building has a mold environment that I have candida. What can I do about that?
I've been vegetarian practically my whole life and I don't even consume that much dairy or sugar in general. I eat pretty healthy and whole, though i do eat quite quickly, but my gassiness is endless throughout the day. Help pls.
I developed an issue with farting in 2005 (13 years ago) while in undergraduate studies. It has been devastating. I didn't know what changed to cause that problem in my life. My already failing social life was destroyed. My already failing self-esteem was destroyed. We're it not for the fact that I believe in Jesus Christ, I probably would either be dead, in prison, on drugs, or some other bad circumstance. Still, however, this issue has been a tremendous burden. I have not known where it came from, nor how to stop it. When it started happening I went to a GI doctor and he discovered that I had been having constipation. Although that was his main concern, it wasn't mine. I had been constipated before in my life, but it had never led to the uncontrollable gas that I began experiencing then at 21 years of age. I had a colonoscopy and there were no problems. I resolved the constipation but not the gas. I stopped going to the doctor because he was dismissive about my embarrassment concerning gas, saying that "everybody has gas." For years I just tried to cope. I was a healthy athletic person and had never had any problems with food. I felt that, living such an active lifestyle, I could afford the calories that my body wanted. Often people would suggest that I was lactose intolerant but I felt that as long as I was not having diarrhea, I was not lactose intolerant. Many people thought my issue was food but I could not tell. I thought I was going crazy because I would ask people if I was gassy and they would say no. However, people's reactions while I was gassy made me feel that they were indeed smelling me. To add to the dilemma, sometimes I wouldn't smell it. Other times I couldn't control it. If I got up to leave, I would never be able to stay in any kind of meeting because I would be constantly excusing myself to go and pass gas. So people would get offended with me. I would often feel rejected. I felt powerless against the issue. My prayers didn't seem to be helping the issue. My faith was hampered a little but through all of this God is my greatest comfort and hope. For several years I tried to stay away from social situations and live with the issue as best I could. In recent years I have found some success in Google searches that demonstrated that there are other people dealing with a very similar issue. However, these cases still seemed to be very rare and there was no legitimizing medical explanation platable and available to the public so as to normalize the issue and relieve social embarrassment. I found information on flatal incontinence that seemed to be applicable but not presenting a cure. This video series is perhaps the most hopeful explanation that I have seen and I will attempt to implement the information presented here. In recent years I have remembered a chain of events that likely led to this problem. I believe that taking antibiotics for a scalp infection greatly impacted my gut bacteria. I believe that made me more prone to constipation along with the fact that I had been eating a less balanced diet. I think the straining from the constipation diminished my ability to hold gas. I think the changes in my digestion affected by the antibiotics made me prone to be more gassy in that food would stay in my intestine longer due to poor digestion. At times, even when my colon was relatively empty, I would have gas escape unvoluntarily. With this theory about how and why this issue began happening I have been encouraged. It may not make sense to others, but for me it is a very satisfying explanation. The information shared in these three videos is also very satisfying and I am going to attempt to apply what has been shared. It is difficult for me not to drink while eating. It may take some time to figure out food combining in a way that alleviates the problem and fits my lifestyle. I'm sure that you're right about the contribution carbs and meat make to the problem. And also, it may be that I have some enzyme difficiencies. My first guess is to try and find a good probiotic, enzyme, and hcl supplement. That would be so much easier than being selective about food. I don't think I have a gluten issue as I have no problems with food other than the gas, but it is worth looking into more closely. I am in trouble doc that not clearing stool properly everyday in morning it has only 1 time pressure then not for second time while it's remaing some on colon so stomach has blotted with undetermined pressure & due to that i have to go 4'5 time in morning , too much burping & growling after defection while so ever i am intaking all things in a manner as you told in this vedio.

I have horrible digestion and it’s making me miserable and depressed. I have been vegan for a very long time and Whole Foods vegan for 4 years but I do have a history of an Eating Disorder from middle school throughout high school (I’m 25 now) that I am convinced plays a role in my digestive troubles now. I can go 12 hours without food and still feel like I am full, weighed down, my stomach is churning and gassy. I will even go as far as burping and it will taste like the last meal I ate (sorry for tmi) And what I ate that 12 hours ago was a lot of greens, cucumbers, peppers, avocado, chickpeas. I don’t think I am over eating or eating anything in reasonable. I am trying to eat 3 regular meals a day but it is so uncomfortable and doesn’t digest properly so I cannot. And I’m forced to either eat an entirely too small lunch, or skip it completely. I also started developing acne all over my chin and some on my forehead which I have never had in my entire life. But it has not changed in 3 years of me deciding to go natural with products and eat Whole Foods only. I drink a gallon of water a day, don’t drink any of it with meals, took probiotics, eat sauerkraut and kombucha, took Betaine with HCI, took activated charcoal, drink water kefir....If I wasnt absolutely desperate I don’t think I would be writing this comment on a YouTube video. But I’m desperate.
The Herb Nerd maybe try reading about Ayurveda you can do ayurveda tests online to see what your dosha is, I have read and heard about vegans eating reasonably healthy eating raw but still getting bad acne and having digestive problems, look into it it’s worth I try. If that doesn’t work go see a holistic nutritionist like this lady!
You never stated what the baseline is for normal amount of gas release. That way a person can know if they are indeed faring excessively. It is normal for a woman to pass 3 litres of gas a day and 3.5l for a man, this is a lot of gas and certainly feel like excessive for many people. Changing diet would be a big influencer as the gut microbiome takes three weeks to catch up with the new foods, until digestion will be less efficient leading to putrefaction of undigested material.

is it possible that one farts too little as well? mine are mostly short, weak and odourless. I envy people who can blow long, loud and stinking farts.. I used to be able years ago, it was an effective way of dealing with annoying people in my vicinity
swear my issue always starts after I overload on fresh and grilled veggies .... like brussells sprouts and broccoli/broccoloini as well as cauliflower ....its tragic really, for me and those in close proximity lol

Agree with combination diet, no liquid with meals, and chewing well but totally disagree with eliminating dairy (except for milk that is only for kids). Only reason BAD dairy creates gas is because in the U.S. cheese/yogurt etc ARE junk. In Europe French and Italians eat cheese daily with no issues. Why? They eat raw milk cheese Not pasteurized (pasteurized cheese bother my sinuses, not raw milk), no hormones, no GMO, no vaccines etc etc!!! I hate it when the best foods for the body get the bad name because in America you no longer have the genuine products....... another one is wheat. Here you have very weak flours (low glutine) and nobody can digest them. InEurope they are high gluten flours and everybody can digest them. Why? In the U.S. they are GMO, sprayed with glyphosate, x rayed to make them smaller. Then they remove the wheat germ (they sell it to vitamin producers) and bleach them...... result? Nobody can eat U.S. wheat...... I tested for gluten sensitivity. I don’t have it. Yet I cannot eat U.S. wheat. I order mine from my Italian vendor that grows the old seeds, organically and then makes the pasta!!!! ..... his pasta if left in a warm spot in 6 months will develop bugs. The commercial pasta will never do. Animals don’t eat junk, only humans do
Mara, I totally agree with you in that the adulteration of certain foods make them much harder to digest and assimilate. That said, it is hard to delve into all the details of these types of issues in these short videos I do without overwhelming viewers. But, I appreciate you weighing in and sharing your thoughts here for people to read. It is very important to address these types of issues too. Whole food fruit is a-ok in my books (within reason). It's when the sugars are extracted from the fruit and all it's fibre in the form of fruit juice where we see a problem. Ditch the fruit juice and eat whole fruits with a balanced, healthy, fresh, whole foods approach and you will reap the benefits.
Kim D'Eon hey Kim I regularly get a huge boner at the most inappropriate of times. The other day i was on a really old shaky bus and i was wearing board shorts with no netting and I had to stand up as there were no free seats. Unfortunately an old lady's face was like 6 inches away from my dong and the vibrations from the bus gave me a chubby and I nearly had her eye out. How can I stop this happening?
Not sure what exactly would be going on with you on an individual basis, but with pregnancy and post-partum there are a lot of hormonal changes that can affect our GI systems and even just anatomical changes that could be influencing your flatulence. If it persists for months, perhaps look into seeing a holistic nutritionist in your area.
I dint rlly fart all the time, but i burb all the time if i eat late. And i get VERY dizzy if i eat late. Im sensitive to noodles, soda drink, peppermint, eat less carbs actually make me rlly gassy. Drinking goat milk, grainy biscuits, eating tons of rice helps me alot. Can u help me to reduce gas other than eating rice and consuming carbs bc i want to lose weight but its hard bc of this gas making me bloat and dizzy.
