Keep your workouts short. No more than 30-45 minutes. No more than 3-4x weekly. Don’t kill yourself. You should leave the gym feeling GOOD and refreshed. Not as if you just got done wrestling Kingkong and you’re dead tired. Take vitamins and herbs after your workout, that are clinically proven to reduce cortisol and increase your testosterone. However, if it’s been on and off for more than a couple of months, then we can assume you do have some degree of erectile dysfunction, which is a warning sign of a health problem. The Shocking Statistics When you think about ED, you typically picture an older guy in his 70’s … Well, NOT that you’re thinking about guys in their 70’s, just that it tends to happen to “older” men. However, ED problems are starting in guys in their mid 20’s. In fact, statistics show that 20% of men in their 20’s have ED, 40% of guys in their 40’s, 60% of men in their 60’s and so forth. The prevalence of complete ED increases from 10% to 15% as age increases from 40 to 70 years. Thus, even though it does affect men to some degree at all ages, after the age of 40 is when the real problems become “common”. In fact, this is called “Andropause” in men, similar to “menopause” in women. And the cause is similar for most everyone, a negative change in your hormones, primarily due to aging. This is due to an imbalance hormones. A decrease in your “pro-sexual” hormones, such as total and free testosterone … Versus an increase in your negative “anti-sexual” hormones, such as female hormones (estrogen, progesterone, prolactin, etc.) and stress hormones (cortisol, adrenalin, etc.) What Are The Causes Of ED? Unfortunately, your penis has a mind of its own and thus, there are lots of causes leading to ED. Different medications and drugs can cause impotence or ED, stress and worry, vascular and blood flow, boredom with your partner, fatigue, illness and of course, the negative changes in your hormones due to aging. What Are The Solutions? The solution has to be based on the original problem. For example, people who have heart disease or diabetes, have vascular and blood flow problems, leading to erectile dysfunction. In this situation, you’d need to improve your lifestyle, eat better, exercise and take the right supplements to help fix this problem and prevent it from getting worse. However, over and over again, the common denominator tends to be hormonal. Listen... stress, worry, anxiety and depression can all cause ED. Some “experts” will say “hey, that’s not hormonal, that’s emotional”. Yes to a small degree, but I say NO! Stress and worry cause an increase in your “fight or flight” stress hormones such as adrenalin and cortisol, BOTH opposing testosterone and lowering this primary “sex drive” hormone. People who are overweight and have extra belly fat, have higher estrogen levels because fat cells produce estrogen, which will send a signal to your testicles to produce LESS testosterone. Now you end up with a higher ratio of FEMALE hormones to male hormones -- which is obviously BAD for getting an erection. By the way, more female hormones cause depression and anxiety, which now we go back to the beginning causing MORE stress and thus, LESS testosterone. It turns into this negative loop, causing more and more hormonal problems This is why the older you get, the lower your testosterone and the more ED problems. Fix your hormones and you’ll fix your ED, you’ll improve your drive - both in the bedroom and in life! Urination is the process of emptying the bladder through the urethra that connects the urinary bladder to the external urethral o. There are two sphincters, or valves, that keep the urethra closed to prevent leak: internal urethral sphincter located at the neck of the bladder, and external sphincter located below the prostate gland and is supported by the pelvic floor muscles. When the bladder is full, stretch receptors in the wall of the bladder send a signal to the spinal cord and the brain. At times when it's not appropriate to urinate, the brain sends back an inhibitory signal to keep the sphincters closed and prevent voiding. When you wish to urinate, this inhibition is removed; the spinal cord instructs the muscle of the bladder to contract and the sphincters to open to let the urine out. Urinary incontinence is involuntary leakage of urine. There are several types of urinary incontinence in men: 1. Stress incontinence: urine leakage while sneezing, coughing, laughing or any activity that creates abdominal pressure on the bladder. This usually occurs because the muscles or tissues underneath the bladder are weakened and can no longer support it. In men, this typically happens after the prostate gland is removed for reasons such as prostate cancer. 2. Urge incontinence: need to void that cannot be deferred, inability to hold. This is commonly caused by an overactive bladder, a condition in which muscles in the wall of the bladder contract in an uncontrollable manner. The reason why this happens is unclear but it's likely to involve problems in the nervous system. 3. Overflow incontinence: constant dribbling of urine. This happens when the bladder does not empty properly while voiding making it almost always full and urine overflows. This may be due to weakened muscles in the bladder wall or a blocked or narrowed urethra. In men, the major cause for this type of incontinence is a condition called enlarged prostate or benign prostate hyperplasia, where the abnormal growth of prostate tissue compresses the urethra and blocks urine flow. Treatment depends on the type of incontinence and severity of symptoms. 1. Lifestyle changes - Limit fluid intake at certain times of the day - such as before going to bed or before a long trip. However, note should be taken to increase fiber content in your meals to prevent constipation. - Cut down on caffeine, alcohol, keep a healthy weight. - Try pelvic floor muscle exercises such as Kegel exercises. This is to strengthen the muscles that support your bladder. - Timed voiding or bladder training therapy: plan regular trips to the bathroom at set times of the day, gradually increase the interval between trips as you gain control. 2. Medication Depending on the cause of incontinence the following types of drugs maybe prescribed: - Alpha-blockers, 5-alpha reductase inhibitors: for treatment of enlarged prostate. - Imipramine, antispasmodics : these act on nerves to block bladder spasms in an overactive bladder. 3. Surgery Surgical procedures include: - Implantation of artificial sphincter: this is performed when weak sphincter is the source of the problem. - Male sling: implementation of an artificial support for the urethra. This is usually recommended for those who have had their prostate gland removed. - Other surgical procedures for treatment of enlarged prostate.

In that video I explained what to eat and I quickly mentioned how you should NOT eat peanuts. I’ve actually mentioned this in a couple of other videos. Well, I got lots of questions as to why this is and how can peanuts be bad for you, since they have good fat, lots of protein, vitamins and minerals. And this is a fair question and let me answer it quickly. To begin with, peanuts are not “nuts”, they are legumes and thus, part of the “bean” family. Most people don’t know this. As to why you should avoid peanuts, there are few important reasons. ALLERGIES To begin with, some people are deathly allergic to peanuts. For a small percentage of the population, peanuts can literally kill them. (1). Of course, the majority of people aren’t AS allergic to peanuts, but if you ate enough of them, long enough, the allergens start to build up and you WILL have allergic reactions, even if they are mild and subtle. It won’t kill you, but it won’t improve your health either. Macronutrients The next thing is that people will say that peanuts are a healthy food because it has carbs, proteins and fats. But the protein doesn’t contain all the essential amino acids. The next problem is the fat content - it’s fairly high in Omega 6 fats and linoleic acid. Omega 6 fats cause inflammation and many diseases - heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, fat gain, cancer, autoimmune diseases, etc. They also compete with the healthy, omega 3 fats - which is NOT what you want. Aflatoxins Most people don’t know, but peanuts actually grow underground, where they tend to be colonized by a fungus called Aspergillus, a source of aflatoxins... which are toxic and highly carcinogenic (cancer causing). Humans are actually fairly resistant to the acute (short-term) effects of aflatoxins, but unfortunately continued exposure does cause a buildup. Additionally, fungus grows on its own and thus, even if you stop eating peanuts the fungus continues to grow inside of you and over time becomes toxic. Studies in humans link aflatoxin exposure to liver cancer, stunted growth in children and mental retardation (8, 9, 10, 11). This is very important for all your parents giving your kids peanut butter daily. I suggest you STOP! High In Lectins Peanuts are also high in Lectins, which is bad for your health -- Again, causing all the typical problems of diseases, inflammation, weight gain, memory problems, joint pain, diabetes, etc., etc. Healthy Alternatives Peanuts and nuts taste yummy, there’s no denying that. Especially when roasted and lightly salted. And in small amounts, eaten occasionally - they should be fine for most people. However, I suggest you switch to other nuts, especially if you are giving your kids peanut butter. I go over everything you need to know to proper contract your kegel muscles. The main problem that happens when people do kegel exercises is simple. They are not properly contracting the muscles. The reason is that they are not thinking of the right muscles to squeeze. A great way to find the muscles working is simple, start peeing, than midway stop. The muscles that you feel working are your kegel exercises, pretty simple really. One of the other major problems, is people try to do their kegel exercises sitting or standing, this is wrong. For beginners you need to do your kegel exercises laying down. Its as simple as that. People will than ask how to do kegel exercises properly. You need to perform your kegel exercises for 3 seconds, than relax for 3 seconds. Do this workout 3 times a day. At breakfast, at lunch, and at supper.
